Makenzie Henton, Editor-in-Chief
Makenzie is an overachieving CHS senior who cannot handle having less than ten things to do in a day, and who also possesses the title of the Sphinx Editor-in-Chief. She is in 11 extracurriculars, being incredibly involved in all of them. She enjoys pizza, naps, and big 'ole fluffy doggos. You can often find her furiously typing on her laptop in the library, complaining about classes, or wishing that she could just go home and sleep. Most often, though, she is with fellow staff member and frenemy Julia Stroud (Lionite Editor-in-Chief) because the counselors blessed them with the same class schedule-- and therefore many whisper-fights. After her high school career, she plans to participate in a business internship in Hong Kong, and attend Baylor University double majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship with minors in Spanish and Leadership.
