Bjornberg Leads the Way as Lions Go 1-for-1 on the Day

Lions finish the day 1-1 on after beating Marion but fall short against Massac County

CARTERVILLE – The Carterville Boys golf team took second place after shooting 164 through 9 holes at the Crab Orchard Golf Club, ultimately outshooting Marion 164-181 but falling to a good Masasc County team 164-157.

Andrew Bjornberg led the Lions, only contributing 40 of the 164 strokes.

When asked about how he prepared going into the match, he said “I had been practicing alongside my coaches and the team as well as by myself”
