CARTERVILLE- Last week the boys golf wins two straight home meets with two Carterville medalists. On Wednesday Carterville faced West Frankfort at Crab Orchard Golf Course. Carterville would win by 26 shots, Carterville 163, West Frankfort 189. Junior Ryder Eignrauch would be the medalist with a score of 38 (+2) and Senior Carson Hagler would take second place with a score of 39 (+3). Carterville would have a much better day after the match vs West Frankfort with another win but a much better score with a 157 beating Pinckneyville, Harrisburg, and Hardin County. All 6 of Carterville’s Varsity finished in the top 6 and three of the six broke 40. Carson Hagler would be the medalist for this match with a score of 38 (+2) following close behind Ryder Eigenrauch and Kenneth Smith in a three way tie for second place with scores of 39 (+3).

The boys golf team had a busy week last week but are slowing down this week with a meet Wednesday @ Massac County and a two day tournament @ Mattoon
