Throughout all sports, trash talk seems to be very controversial, but IHSA seems to think it is a very important topic in all sports because they have a whole section on their website about sportsmanship and talking badly about other teams. They take this very seriously and even have a mascot with a good attitude. Their website says, “ Add A. Tude mascot represents the vigor and friendliness of the proper behavior that is the backbone of good sportsmanship.” If they have to make a mascot for a good attitude, it has to be a problem.
