Zach Snow Walks-Offs vs Marion

CARTERVILLE – Sophomore Zach Snow hit a walk off double vs Marion to drive in the winning run on third to win the game 5-4. A costly balk would advance Senior Parker Poole to second base which then allowed him to steal third and get in scoring position.

The first two innings would start off slow until Marion scored first in the top of the third inning giving them the lead early. Carterville would be able to keep them at one run for the most part with Parker Poole getting 10 strikeouts. Carterville would turn this defense into offense scoring 4 runs in two innings helping them take the lead.

The story of the game would be hitting with 22 combined hits from both teams, 10 from Marion and 12 from Carterville. The biggest hit of the game would be Zach Snows in the bottom of the seventh winning it all for Carterville.
