As the Class of 2025 wraps up their high school years, one big question lingers: Where will they be in 10 years? It’s a question that gets them thinking about what comes next, from their careers to their personal lives. With so many different goals, talents, and dreams among them, the possibilities are endless. In just a decade, they could be shaping their communities, making a name for themselves in their careers, or following paths they haven’t even imagined yet.

Here are a handful of the responses that were sent in from the senior class:

“In 10 years I hope to be working on my masters of science nursing or my doctorate of nursing practice, or maybe have it done already. I will have a good job working as a labor and delivery nurse or a pediatric or neonatal nurse practitioner. I don’t know where I want to live, but I’ll have my own house, a husband, maybe 2 or 3 kids, and a couple dogs” (Anna Booker)

“The goal for me is becoming a sports broadcaster. I have been told since I was little that I should be an announcer when I grow up and I might as well give it a shot. I have a strong love for sports and I want to make it part of my life. I feel like at least doing something in that business would be some sort of a dream come true” (Timothy Hawthorne).

“By this time I hope to be working on a masters in wildlife conversation while starting my family. I hope to have a house that I slowly work to pay off and be having a second child. My goals are to be financially responsible and stable. Working with polar bears internationally and working towards a better habitat for them” (Abbygail Ballard).

“I hope to have graduated college with a degree in exercise science as well as become a physical therapy assistant. I also hope to go to grad school to get a degree in physical therapy or athletic training. Aside from my career I am unsure of how I see my family life down the road” (Chloe Wills).

“I’d say in 2035 that my time with the military would have evolved into a career. I would think within this 10 years period as well, I would get married. In 10 years I will be flipping on a whole new chapter in our life stories and so will my classmates of 2025”  (Luke Johnson).

“I see myself in the countryside with lots of hills and sunflowers: possibly in a foreign country that is gorgeous. With a job that I enjoy going to every single day. Possibly married but maybe not and that’s ok because I probably will be happy in my life!” (Haley Banovz).

“Ideally, I will have recently graduated with my doctorate degree and will be settling down, buying my first house, and starting a family! I will also have spent many more summers traveling Europe with my friends!” (Jewel Mccamish).

“In ten years from now, I would see myself finally achieving my career I want in physiology. I honestly feel like I would be out of this state somewhere viewing the many countries of our world as well” (Nevaeh McClellan).

“In 10 years from now, I see myself finishing up my anesthesiology residency program to become an Anesthesiologist. I see a bunch of traveling going on with friends and family.” (Hailey Bolen).

“Out of state living in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania working as a mortician. Tatted like a chipotle bag, and a magnet being my worst enemy… With my cat named Arthur in an apartment in the city” (Lakya Anderson).

“In ten years I hope to have graduated college, get married, and maybe even have one kid. But if I am not married at 27, then maybe I’ll be traveling or doing something fun” (Mary Barnstable).

“I see myself married in Tennessee with a house I built. I also see myself being a teacher at an elementary school. Hopefully I already have a kid or one on the way!” (Anna Hendricks).

“Possibly a highschool english teacher that is married to the love of my life and possibly being a mom” (Elise Judd).

“In 10 years, I hopefully will be either an Athletic Director or travelling with a professional sports team. Hopefully I am an athletic director at a college” (Carson Banks).

“I will see myself from now on as having a family. I would also be teaching 2nd grade. The last and final thing would be that I will still go to church” (Kaitlyn Pinkston).

“Working for a law firm and working towards starting my own law firm. Having a house with no kids, maybe a husband if I’m lucky” (Lynnze Green).

“I will most likely be down south working in HVAC. Hopefully I will own a house by then but the economy is terrible” (Adam Bilderback).

“I see myself continuing school to get a doctorate. Therefore, I’m in heavy debt and will be owing a lot of money back” (Danica Shao).

“I see myself being a pilot and traveling the world. I want to have a home, a child and I want to be successful” (Jessica Crawford).

“I see myself being married and a music teacher to teach kids how to love and appreciate music as much as I do” (Carolann Iaccino).

“In 10 years, I hope to be a successful engineer. I imagine living in a decent house and enjoying my job” (Marcela Wood).

“I see myself hopefully driving my dream car, having my own salon and surrounded by supportive people!” (Marissa Thompson).

“I plan to be living in Texas building my dream house and having my stable job as a teacher!”  (Alyssa Nausley).

“I hope to be a Park Ranger working somewhere cool in 10 years. Maybe I’ll be out west” (Lillian Carsrud).

“I see myself being a state police officer, owning many side businesses” (Nolan Tapley).

“Hopefully living a stable life with my partner and a good career” (Rosalisha Grant).

“I see myself working as an architect and making it my living. I also see myself traveling the world and seeing all sorts of unique cultures” (Joel Akers).

“I plan to be working as a pediatric Physician Assistant, hopefully living in Tennessee or Kentucky. I hope to live in a nice house!” (Myra Anderson).

“I see myself in the union, working as a journeyman electrician. I’ll be making the big bucks and by then I’ll probably be building my own house” (Nathaniel Brame).

“I see myself working a good job with a family living in my dream spot” (Natalia Ward).

“Hopefully pursuing the career path of either a mechanic, paleontologist, or biologist. Completely different paths, but all of the things I’m very passionate about. And in 10 years I definitely see myself probably being far away from Illinois” (Peyton Harris).

“Working and paying taxes” (Caleb Gourley).

“I see myself being a top player in whatever the future Smash Bros Game will be, as well as being financially successful. I see myself proud of my past, proud of the obstacles I overcame which lead me to the current me and what will lead to me in the future reading this. Lastly, I see myself with more scars and wounds, but stronger than I currently am” (William Trant).

“Probably in Michigan working a job as a nurse” (Clarissa Buckles).

“I think I will have an average degree, which will obtain me an average Job. This job may or may not be above average pay, but regardless, it will be average” (Nick Bisching).

In conclusion, while the future of the Class of 2025 remains uncertain, it is clear that they are poised to make meaningful contributions to society. As they take the next steps in their journey, the Class of 2025 will continue to inspire and redefine success, leaving a lasting impact on the future.
