Lions Bowling Strike Through the Rams: A Win to Start at Home

Awaiting the shivers of the early season, the Boys Bowling team took on their first home match against the Mt. Vernon Rams.

Seniors Evan Flath, David Lutchka, and Cole Sims led the charge, assembling their team and leading to a powerful first game of 1014 pins. Consistent strong performances gathered motivation, and finishes of 1028 and 947 held the Lions in a competitive position. Following Mt. Vernon’s score, the Lions outscored the Rams 2989 to 2818 in an anticipated matchup, earning the win in their home opener.

The Lions will bowl next against Massac County Patriots on December 5th in hopes of continuing their win streak in a tough season.
