“Twisters” is a film about tornado chasing as well as trying to stop them before they destroy everything. Kate Carter, played by Daisy Edgar Jones, is living with the trauma of a tornado run a few years back. Now, she works for the National Weather Services in New York City.

Kate is good with tornadoes; she can tell how they will behave as well as where the tornado is going. Her old friend, Javi, shows up and asks Kate to come back to track tornadoes with him for a new, possibly life saving project. Kate says yes, only after he convinces her, which led to them being on the way to Oklahoma.

The overall rating for “Twisters” is 75% on Rotten Tomatoes. Freshman Terry Little said “I like Tyler Owens and the truck he drives and also how he drifts through the fields.”

“In all honesty “Twisters” was an amazing movie. The sounds and the visuals made the experience awesome. When I saw it in theaters, it felt like I was right there with them during it all” said  sophomore Braidyn Hale.

Freshman Alana Campbell said “I loved the “Twisters” movie. I’ve never seen the original one but I thought it was really good.”

“Twisters are like getting hit by a brick. At first you see it coming and you’re like “omg it’s a brick.” Then you get hit by the brick and it’s just blinding pain and you’re rolling on the ground in despair. Then you finally are coherent enough to try and find who threw the brick.  You find them and then throw the brick back at them, making the cycle repeat”  said junior Parker Goddard.

Junior Brayden Clark said “It’s like having a long black snake follow you and try to mess you up because somehow the tornado knows exactly where you’re heading and where you are.”
