CARTERVILLE – The Lady Lions pulled off a decisive victory on Saturday,  December 3, defeating Vienna 35-22 in their first home game of the season.

The Lions started off the game strong, managing to take an early lead during the 1st quarter. Their lead was sparked by dominate post play as well as stellar defense.

The Ladies kept their consistency throughout the first half, holding Vienna to seven points at half putting them up 19-7 heading into the break.

Their dominance continued in the following half which allowed them to come home with the comfortable victory over Vienna, 35-22.

Junior guard Hillary Siemer expressed her opinions on Saturdays game saying “We did really well defensively. We prevented them from scoring a lot.”
