CARTERVILLE – The Lady Lions soccer team hosted the Harrisburg Bulldogs and closed the night with an 11-0 win.

The game between the Lions and Bulldogs started in the Lions possession as senior Audri Strothmann scored a goal in the first three minutes with an assist from junior Rylee Davis.

The Lady Lions played the first half primarily on the Bulldogs side of the field with a total of 8 goals from Strothmann (Sr.), Hillary Siemer (So.), Davis (Jr.) Hannah Tran (Jr.), and Amanda Howerton (Sr.). This shortened the second half down to twenty minutes and with a continuous clock by earning a score of 8-0 at the break.

Starting off the second half strong, Strothmann scored another goal along with Davis adding another shortly after.

The game remained one-sided the whole match, only leaving the Bulldogs side of the field a couple times. Capping the scoring with the eleventh goal, Junior Ella O’Brien sealed the home win for the Lions.
