Lions Soccer Crushes Red Devils Winning Streak

CARTERVILLE- Carterville Lions Boys Soccer team took home a win on Thursday, September 2 against Murphysboro Red Devils, 2-0. 


The game opened up strongly for the Lions as Riley Sims scored the first goal, assisted by Konnor Turner. Shortly following, a corner kick off the foot of Sims was netted off the head of Chandler Teeling scoring their second goal. 


Not only did this game turn a tide for a struggling Lions team, but it broke the Red Devils recent winning streak.
