This year’s Super Bowl was one for the books. With an exceptional game between two good teams, the game did not disappoint.

Many believed that New England would take the win, considering that Philadelphia had never won a superbowl championship, and the Patriots have five under their belt. However, there were a lot of people who wanted the Eagles to win, whether out of hatred for the Patriots or their support for the Eagles. CHS football coach, Jake Wakey answered the big question, Who did you want to win the Super Bowl? His response was “Anybody but the Patriots, so in that case, The Eagles.” He is one of many that wanted the Eagles to win because of their hatred for the Patriots.  While many have a negative opinion on the Patriots. A study showed that the Patriots have the best fanbase in the NFL. With over 2.4 million Twitter followers, the Patriots were under a lot of pressure. The Patriots were a 4-and-a-half point favorite to beat the Eagles.

The Eagles had a good season leading up to the Super Bowl, with eighteen wins and only five losses. While the Patriots had a total of fifteen wins and four losses. The outcome of the super bowl had many shocked and even more pleasantly surprised. The LII Super Bowl was one to remember.
